FOOD

A rabbit's deit is based off of 75% hay 10% veggies and 15% pellets.
So let's talk about those three things:

-HAY

Rabbits should have hay ALL day, in the morning,at noon, and at night!Baby rabbits(also called kits or kittens) should have alfalfa hay.
Alfalfa hay is usally very green and in very small peices. Adult rabbits should have timothy hay. Although there are lots of different
types of hay timothy hay is the best for adults you can still try other types of hay

-VEGGIES

A bunny needs 1 cup of veggies per day I give my bunnies veggies
in the morning but you can give them veggies at night or during the
day.

-PELLETS

A rabbit should have pellets once a day like veggies eather in the morning or at night but it has to be the oppisote of when he/she has veggies! Oxbow rabbit pellets or clean mama's rabbit pellets are great!(For babies buy alfalfa pellets)

Holding Your Angel

Almost all rabbits HATE  to be held. Rabbits are prey animals so being held is like being picked up by a predator, even if you have a strong bond with them it is the same dread. My two rabbits are okay with being held and people always say to me "HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU DO THAT!?" or "Oh my god! You guys are so bonded!' or "Did you invent a new way to hold rabbits?" The awnser/reply to those qeustions/statements are; I hold my rabbits the normal way and I'm just lucky. What happens with me and my rabbits is very rare. Anyways, chances are that your rabbit will pray to stay on the ground so only pick them up if you have to. Why people say those things to me is when you pick up most rabbits they squirm and scratch you because they are trying to get away from the "predator".

How To Bring A Rabbit

Home For The First Time

Rabbits are very shy when they are first meeting some one! When you bring your new bunny home you should always have a kennel for them to ride in.

You should buy a cat kennel the price can range from

$11-$40(Mine was about $24). You'll want to get an old

towel and put it on the bottom of the kennel.(You can purchuse the kennel at walmart, petco.petsmart, and more.)Then put fun toys, treats, and hay on the towel but

don't over do it because chances are he/she won't want to play right away! Keep them in the kennel and DO NOT take them out for 3 HOURS  then open the kennel

and let him go into the cage herself/hisself keep him/her in it for exactly 24 hours-30 hours(30 hours tops) then you can gently play with them once a day

for 3 days then you can play with your rabbits when ever you want!!!!!!

What Kind Of Kennel?

You should use a kennel where ever you go with your

rabbit! But it should be a large plastic kennel(a cat kennel would do just fine!)

If you use a fabric kennel your rabbit could chew through it and get away they would also be very uncomfortable for your rabbit! Some people like to use dog kennels these are just like the cat kennel but larger and cost a lot more money! You don't have to get a dog kennel because most rabbits will just sit in one corner the whole time they are in the kennel but some rabbits do like to play while they are in the kennel although that is very unlikely to happen.

Picking Up A Rabbit Correctly

PLEASE READ "Holding Your Angel" BEFORE READING

If you have to pick up your rabbit then you must to it right to cause minimum stress. Even when holding a rabbit correctly your bunny will still be terrified. Reading something is a hard way to learn how to pick up a rabbit correctly so take a look at these pictures;
