Getting Made Fun Of For Doing The Right Thing
I myself am a vegetarian and wish to become a vegan soon. I have LOTS of respect for vegans as they get bullied for doing the right thing. When ever I tell someone I want to go vegan thay say,"Ew,don't." or "Why? It hurts animals to keep milk in." whoever says that obviosly doesn't know what they're talking about. Vegans are doing the right thing,just because you don't love animals doesn't mean the people who do should get made fun of for respecting these harmless creatures.
Is It Bad For Cows To Not Be Milked?
No,it does not hurt cows to keep milk in. They "dry up" which means they stop producing milk. They only produce milk if they have a calf so naturaly the calf drinks all of the milk but like I said if for some reason s/he can't the mother "dries up".
Mamas Want Their Babies But Not In Heaven
After around 5-9 years or if the mother dries up because she hasn't had a baby again recently she is sent to the slaughter house,watching other cows get slaughtered relizing her fate. She soon will get hung by her feet and get her neck slit with a knife or a blade sevor her whole head off rolling to the ground. While she is producing milk when she has her babies if it is a girl,she will suffer the same fate. if he is a boy then he will go straight to the slaughter house or go get killed for leather. While the mother is getting milked she doesn't get hand milked by a human,she gets steroids to make her bigger for slaughter and produce more milk. She also gets hooked up to a machine that tugs very fastly and painfully just so milk will come out faster.
Eggs Are Excelent
So what's the big deal about eggs? Hens are trapped in small cages their whole lives crammed together,unable to move more than an inch(2 cm). Free range chickens are the same thing just with out the cages.
